Choose Paragraphs, Sentences, or Words

Click the mode button to select whether you want to generate text by paragraph count, sentence count, or word count. Paragraphs is the default mode.

Pick a preset and Generate text

Choose an amount from the preset buttons for your selected mode. Click Generate text to create the output. Switching modes or changing the amount automatically regenerates output if text already exists.

Copy text and Clear

Copy text writes the current output to your clipboard. Clear removes the output, restores Paragraphs at 3, and returns focus to Generate text.

Paragraphs

Paragraphs is the default mode, starting at 3 paragraphs. Presets are 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 paragraphs. Each paragraph contains 4–7 sentences, and paragraphs are separated by one blank line. The first paragraph begins with the exact opening sentence.

Sentences

Sentences mode starts at 5 sentences. Presets are 1, 3, 5, 10, and 20 sentences. Output begins with the exact opening sentence and generates the requested additional sentences.

Words

Words mode starts at 50 words. Presets are 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 words. Output begins with exactly lorem ipsum dolor sit amet in lowercase, then continues with generated words.

Paragraphs and Sentences modes begin with this exact opening sentence:

Words mode begins with exactly lorem ipsum dolor sit amet in lowercase.

Sentence and paragraph structure

In Paragraphs mode, each paragraph contains 4–7 sentences and is separated from the next by one blank line. In Sentences mode, sentences follow the opening sentence, each containing 8–16 words.

Corpus and random selection

Text is generated from a fixed 63-word corpus using Math.random, so output is nondeterministic and different each time. Within a sentence, the same word cannot appear twice in immediate succession; that no-repeat rule resets at each sentence boundary.

Layouts, mockups, wireframes, and drafts

Placeholder text is useful for checking layout flow, visual hierarchy, and typography in a mockup or wireframe before real content is written, and for filling a draft while actual copy is still being written or reviewed.

Replace placeholder copy before publishing

Lorem Ipsum is placeholder text, not meaningful finished copy. Always review and replace it with real content before publishing any layout, mockup, wireframe, or draft.

Preset, plain-text, and browser limits

Output is plain text only. The UI offers only the listed preset counts—no custom amount, HTML tags, rich formatting, download/export, seed selection, or alternative filler. Capacity and speed depend on your browser and device; no fixed maximum is promised.
