Overview

247 Tools is a collection of free browser tools. This policy describes what data the site processes when you use it, what stays on your device, and which third parties are involved.

Tool inputs stay in your browser

Text and values you enter into a tool are processed by that tool in your browser. Tool inputs are not uploaded or sent to a 247 Tools server, and the tools do not require an account or save a history of what you enter.

Page analytics

On the production site, 247 Tools uses Ahrefs Analytics, a cookieless service, to count page views in aggregate. It measures which pages are visited; it does not receive anything you type into a tool.

The production site also uses Google Analytics to measure visits and how pages are used. This includes small interaction events — which tool's buttons were used, whether a result was copied, and whether the contact form was submitted — described only by the page and the button's label, never by the text or values you enter. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to recognize returning visitors; it likewise does not receive anything you type into a tool. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this data.

Session replay

The production site uses Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized interaction sessions — clicks, scrolls, and page navigation — so usability problems can be found and fixed. Text you type is masked in the browser before anything is uploaded, so recordings never contain your tool inputs. Clarity sets cookies to recognize repeat sessions; see Microsoft's privacy statement for how Microsoft handles this data.

Hosting and request logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives ordinary request data — such as your IP address, browser information, and the pages you request — in order to serve the site, and may keep standard request logs.

Local storage

The site stores your theme preference (light or dark) in your browser's localStorage under the key gollin1-theme. This value never leaves your browser, and you can remove it by clearing your browser's site data.

Clipboard

When you choose Copy in a tool, the current result is written to your system clipboard. The site never reads your clipboard, and it writes to it only when you ask.

Contact form messages

When you send a message through the contact page, the email address, subject, and message you submit are sent to a server and delivered to the site operator's inbox by the Resend email service. They are used only to read and answer your message. Contact messages and search queries (which travel in the page URL like any page request) are the only typed content that reaches a server — tool inputs never do.

Advertising

247 Tools does not currently serve advertising. The site may introduce advertising in the future; if it does, this policy will be updated first to describe the ad provider, any cookies or similar technologies involved, and the choices available to you.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as the site changes. Updates are published on this page with a new effective date.
